We were blessed by a special visitor today! We had the opportunity to meet Sister Salome Nambi. She is a sister from Uganda, Africa. She taught us some new songs, let students play her drums, showed us how people in her country carry water, and shared what school is like for kids in Uganda.
We welcomed two baby pygmy goats to our classroom for the day. We had a blast learning about them, reading to them, and watching them run, play, and nap. Everyone had turns feeding them milk from their bottle. They were even the subjects of our writing activity. Hands-on learning is the best!
