Through a generous donation from the Schraufnagel family, we received a SmartBoard for our classroom. Thank you Carol Luther and family! We are enjoying this new interactive tool to learn in so many ways.
We cut open a pumpkin to observe it and learn about it. We recorded our observations in our pumpkin journals. Then we created an experiment. We put soil in the pumpkin and watered it. We predicted that the seeds inside the pumpkin would grow. Pumpkin Artwork In a week, seedlings sprouted in our pumpkin! We visited a pumpkin patch, went for a hayride, played on their playground, and picked our own pumpkins to take home. Our pumpkin plants have really grown in two weeks! It is fun to watch them change, measure them, and record what we notice in our pumpkin journals.
