Monday, February 9, was the 100th day of school. We celebrated with many learning activities related to the number 100. We practiced skip counting to 100. We partnered with the fourth grade class to design and create some glasses shaped like the number 100. We graphed how many times in 100 seconds we could do jumping jacks, give fist bumps, write our names, do sit-ups, and say a tongue twister. We played a dice game called "Race to 100." The day flew by so quickly that our final activity needed to be finished another day. We created really long number sentences on strips of paper. Each one equals 100!
